Our international client is currently searching for a Semiconductor Supplier Quality Engineer to manage end to end component quality, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure new product readiness. The role will involve leading multi-functional teams and working closely with suppliers for understanding of exposure, risk, containment, root cause and corrective actions in a timely manner. Developing, tracking and reporting progress will be required as well as leading annual and formal audits of supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Required skills for the Semiconductor Supplier Quality Engineer will include:
- Semiconductor wafer fab / assembly process knowledge and experience
- Expertise in managing semiconductor suppliers and foundries
- Knowledge of supplier quality standards, policies and procedures, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Materials Science discipline
