Overview

Our client is developing cutting edge, next generation compound semiconductors, and is a leader within the North East’s emerging semiconductor cluster. They are now searching for an Etch Process Engineer to join the dynamic process engineering team to deliver core support activity underpinning process development and manufacturing. The role will involve yield improvement activities, working closely with device, yield and development engineers to achieve new product introductions and continuous improvement activities. This role requires a British passport holder.

Responsibilities

  • Support process development and manufacturing for etch operations in a high volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Lead yield improvement activities and collaborate with device, yield and development engineers to enable new product introductions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a high volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of etch equipment and processes.
  • Yield and semiconductor device experience.
  • Applied Science, Electronic Engineering or similar degree or equivalent.
