What we’re looking for:
- Experience in radar or Electronic Warfare modelling and simulation
- Strong background in signal processing algorithm development and validation
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Python or similar high-level languages
- Understanding of system architecture and complex system interactions
- A relevant degree in engineering, physics, maths or a related discipline
Additional experience in any of the following areas would be highly desirable:
- DSP fundamentals including sampling, FFTs, filtering, correlation and convolution
- Hardware-in-the-loop development for radar or EW systems
- RF system knowledge, including antennas, front-end architecture, waveforms or receiver processing
- Real-time DSP or FPGA-based implementation
- Simulation validation through real-world measurements or field trials
Candidates with defence, security, radar or Electronic Warfare experience are preferred, though our client is open to applicants from adjacent technical backgrounds if they bring strong modelling, signal processing and problem-solving skills.
Why consider this?
This client is growing quickly and investing in technically demanding defence and national security programmes. You’ll be given meaningful technical responsibility, work alongside a highly capable peer group, and operate in a collaborative R&D environment with strong scope to develop into adjacent disciplines.
