We are seeking a skilled RF Test Engineer to join a growing technology company based in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a collaborative design team and contribute to the development and delivery of high-performance RF products.
Key Responsibilities as the RF Test Engineer:
- Perform RF testing on products at both the board and final product level
- Conduct RF qualification testing across temperature ranges to meet customer specifications
- Compile and document test results, including creating clear summary test reports
- Support PCBA testing and assist with design centring where required
- Ensure compliance with EMC legislation and support related testing processes
- Utilise and maintain RF test equipment, including spectrum analysers, network analysers, noise figure analysers, power meters, and oscilloscopes
- Develop and maintain automated test setups using tools such as LabVIEW or VEE
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience testing RF products at both board and system level
- Strong understanding of EMC compliance and related legislative requirements
- Hands-on experience with compliance and qualification testing
- Familiarity with RF test instrumentation and equipment
- Experience in test automation using LabVIEW, VEE, or similar platforms
