An exciting opportunity for a Network and System Support Engineer has arisen with an innovative leader in next-generation wireless solutions, based in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the R&D team, providing first-line support to engineering teams while enabling end-to-end system validation across radio, networking, and server components.
This role operates on a shift rotation: 12:00am–8:00am and 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Night shifts can be worked remotely (within 1 hour of the office), and day shifts must be worked onsite.
Experience of the Network and System Support Engineer will include:
- Networking – IPv6, VLAN, routers, switches, TCP/IP
- Network monitoring and troubleshooting (e.g. Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Scripting with Bash or Python
- Architecting and implementing an end-to-end test environment, integrating radio units, servers, and network switches
