Overview Leading technology company in the compute platform space is hiring a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to join the web platform team in Cambridge.
This is a hybrid role, and you must live within commutable distance of Cambridge.
The role focuses on owning pivotal design, architecture, and development work on the platform that serves as the main customer portal for collaboration and sales.
It is an individual contributor role that leads through influence, sets technical direction, elevates code quality through reviews, and ships production code weekly with the team.
Responsibilities Own design, architecture, and development of the web platform components.
Lead through influence: establish technical direction and maintain high coding standards via code reviews.
Ship production code on a regular cadence with the team.
Qualifications Expertise in building and operating Ruby applications in production, with a track record of leading Ruby projects from design through to production operations.
Experience scaling complex web applications.
Ability to develop technical strategy, both individually and as part of a team.
Experience building and operating real-time services (e. g., Web RTC, Server-Sent Events).
Experience with monoliths, microservices, and architectures in between.
Experience with Go or React.
