Principal Analog IC Design Engineer

Our growing Semiconductor IP client based in the UK’s technology hub of Cambridge is seeking a Principal Analog IC Designer to join their established team.

Our client has a completely hybrid approach to working, so you have the option to work from home, with meet ups with the team in Cambridge when you need to.

In this role the Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and sign-off of multiple IPs to customer specifications. As a senior member of the team, you will be driving design reviews, mentoring less experienced team members, and driving on-going enhancement of design methodologies to improve efficiency and quality. You will also be supporting product characterization, debugging and failure analysis as and when required.

This position would suit a Senior / Principal level Analog IC Design engineer with:

• At least 10 years of experience in industry
• An excellent understanding of the IC Design process in CMOS technology and with a systematic and proactive approach to design
• Experience in some or all of the following blocks: Power management (LDOs, SMPS, Bandgaps), ADC/DACs, Sensor Interface Circuits (Temperature, Capacitive), PLLs, DLLs
• A proven track record of managing the co-design and integration of a number of circuits / IPs

Excellent communication skills in English as well as the ability work well within a team are required, and the desire to make a positive contribution to an exciting young company is of course essential!
