Role overview: This Power Electronics Engineer role is focused on designing and delivering high-performance power conversion hardware all the way from concept through to build and test.
You will:
- Design converters and motors
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts ready for production
- Test, validate, and troubleshoot hardware
- Work closely with software and systems engineers on integration
Essential Experience:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering (or similar) or equivalent experience
- Proven power electronics design experience (DC-DC converters, motor drives)
- Strong understanding of control loops (digital ideally)
- Hands-on testing and validation using lab equipment
- Experience with high-voltage systems
- Schematic capture and PCB layout capability
- Hardware/software integration experience
- Familiarity with CAN or similar protocols
