Role overview: This Power Electronics Engineer role is focused on designing and delivering high-performance power conversion hardware all the way from concept through to build and test.

You will:

  • Design converters and motors
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts ready for production
  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot hardware
  • Work closely with software and systems engineers on integration

Essential Experience:

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering (or similar) or equivalent experience
  • Proven power electronics design experience (DC-DC converters, motor drives)
  • Strong understanding of control loops (digital ideally)
  • Hands-on testing and validation using lab equipment
  • Experience with high-voltage systems
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout capability
  • Hardware/software integration experience
  • Familiarity with CAN or similar protocols
