Joining as an RF Lead Engineer, you’ll play a key role in moving cutting-edge RF concepts into real, deployable hardware – working closely with architecture, systems, and wider engineering teams. As an RF Lead Engineer, you will take ownership of RF subsystem design and delivery within a defined system architecture. This is a hands‑on position with real technical depth, combined with leadership responsibilities across design, validation, and team development. You’ll be expected to drive RF performance from concept through to validation, ensuring designs meet both technical and commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities
- RF Technical Leadership
- Lead RF design activities aligned to system-level requirements
- Own RF subsystem performance, implementation, and delivery
- Drive design reviews and provide technical sign-off
- RF Design & Development
- Design and simulate RF circuits (LNAs, PAs, filters, duplexers)
- Optimise RF performance within system constraints
- Define and execute RF test and validation plans
- Analyse measurements (S-parameters, NF, EVM, ACPR, phase noise, linearity)
- Lead debugging and root‑cause analysis of RF issues
- Mentor and support RF engineers within the team
- Promote strong engineering practices and documentation standards
- Cross-Functional Work
- Collaborate with system architects and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to technical decision‑making, planning, and risk management
- Support manufacturing and production test activities
