Production Lead
We are seeking an experienced Production Lead to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead the Production/Manufacturing function, driving the transition of products from prototype and first-article stages through to full serial production for both internal and external customers.
You will be responsible for establishing and leading the manufacturing function, ensuring the successful transition of products from prototype and first-article stages into serial production. You will oversee manufacturing operations, including production planning, capacity management, process development, tooling, equipment, and workforce growth. The role will involve implementing manufacturing documentation, assembly procedures, configuration control, and quality assurance processes, while working closely with engineering teams to deliver products efficiently and maintain high production standards in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience transitioning products from prototype to serial production.
- Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment is highly desirable.
- Strong background in establishing and scaling manufacturing operations.
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing planning, capacity planning, and production scheduling.
- Experience implementing robust manufacturing documentation and control systems.
- Strong understanding of quality management and production assurance processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
