We are partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed deep tech company developing next-generation advanced imaging and deployable hardware systems for high-performance and extreme-environment applications.
You will lead the mechanical design of precision hardware systems from concept through to deployment. Working closely with embedded, systems, and test teams, you will be responsible for defining architectures, driving design decisions, and ensuring successful validation of hardware in demanding operational environments.
- Mechanical concept development and system architecture
- Detailed CAD design and engineering analysis
- Prototype development, testing, and iterative refinement
- Validation against real-world and environmental test data
- Design for manufacturability and deployment readiness
Strong background in mechanical design and product development.
Experience working in high-performance or safety-critical environments (aerospace, space, defence, or similar).
Demonstrated ability to take hardware from concept through to prototype and deployment.
