I’m recruiting for a Senior PDK Engineer for my leading British Semiconductor client based in the Northeast of England. As a leading developer of cutting-edge, next generation compound semiconductors, our client is looking for a PDK Engineer to provide design support services for all aspects of generation of MMIC layout artwork from development of PDKs to the procurement of mask sets. This will involve developing and maintaining Process Design Kits (PDKs) including design rules, DRC/LVS decks and parameterised cells.

The right candidate will have:

  • A University degree in Electronics / Science / Mathematics
  • A proven background within PDK development, with several years of experience in the field
  • An interest in Semiconductor devices would be beneficial, so as to understand the design and manufacturing flow
  • Excellent team working skills, and a strong attention to detail
