This Project Manager role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of complex engineering programmes developing next-generation RF and microwave technology used in mission-critical applications. Working across R&D, engineering and manufacturing teams, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to production, ensuring delivery remains aligned to technical, commercial and customer objectives.
The role operates on a hybrid basis, and due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
Responsibilities
- Manage complex engineering projects through the full product development lifecycle
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across RF, electronics, hardware, manufacturing, procurement and quality
- Manage schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies and customer deliverables
- Work closely with technical leads to ensure engineering activities remain aligned to programme objectives
- Support manufacturing readiness and product introduction activities
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience delivering complex R&D or manufacturing projects within RF, microwave, electronics, semiconductor or similarly advanced engineering environments
- Strong understanding of hardware product development and engineering lifecycles
- Ability to work confidently with highly technical engineering teams, understanding the challenges involved in developing complex electronic products
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering programmes from development through to production
- Strong stakeholder management, planning and communication skills
- Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira or similar
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical background would be advantageous
