Our international client is currently searching for a Senior NPI Product Engineer to lead and support the introduction of new semiconductor products from development through high-volume manufacturing. Working cross-functionally to improve testability, manufacturability, product characterization, yield, quality, and production readiness for high-performance optical and analog/mixed-signal ICs.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Product Introduction (NPI) Drive products from concept to production release and manufacturing transfer. Coordinate with Design, Test, Validation, Quality, Reliability, Applications, Marketing, and Operations teams. Manage NPI milestones, release documentation, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Design for Testability & Manufacturing Define and implement DFT (Design for Testability) and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) requirements. Support development and optimization of ATE test programs. Finalize datasheet specifications and production test limits. Ensure robust test coverage and product quality.
  • Characterization, Yield & Data Analysis Develop characterization plans across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) conditions. Analyze ATE and bench data, including correlation studies and process capability analysis. Perform DOE (Design of Experiments), yield modeling, and test optimization. Identify yield-loss drivers and implement corrective actions.
  • Quality & Failure Analysis Monitor manufacturing yield and quality metrics. Support failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and CAPA activities. Work with foundries and OSAT partners to resolve production issues. Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Good experience in semiconductor product, test engineering.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor physics and analog/mixed-signal ICs.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and tools such as Excel or JMP.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
