This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physical Design Engineer to join a leading independent design service company. This is a unique opportunity to allow you to work on a range of projects and deliver leading-edge solutions for their customers' needs, working in a range of markets including communications, industrial, avionics, security fields and more! The fact that no day will ever be the same gives you the opportunity to work across the whole Physical Design flow, developing your skills and expertise in all aspects of the job role. My client is partnered with several household names across the world and has been delivering their high-quality and reliable service for over 25 years.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in Electronics Engineering or a related field
- 3+ successful tapeouts
- Knowledge of entire PD flow from netlist to GDS (Floorplanning, Power planning, Placement & Optimisation, CTS, Routing, Post route optimization and DRC closure)
- Experience in logic synthesis, conformal, static timing analysis and Place and Route (PnR)
- Experience working a 22/20nm process nodes is desirable
