A fast-growing technology company at the forefront of next-generation wireless and antenna design is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer to support its expanding customer base and drive engagement across key accounts and design projects. This new position offers a chance to play a pivotal role in scaling the company's footprint across component supply and advanced antenna applications for wearables.
About the Role
As an integral member of the engineering and commercial team, you'll act as the technical interface between customers, partners, and internal R&D. You'll help translate technical requirements into design solutions, provide hands-on support for integration and testing, and collaborate with sales to secure new design wins and partnerships with OEMs, ODMs, and module suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with customers, partners, and distribution channels.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including design reviews, integration guidance, and troubleshooting for RF and wireless products.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities, support proposal development, and assist with contract negotiation from a technical perspective.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
- Capture market and customer feedback to influence product roadmaps and feature enhancements.
About You
- Strong understanding of RF engineering principles and wireless standards (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UWB, DECT, etc.).
- Proven track record in FAE, technical sales, or design support roles within semiconductor, antenna, or wireless communication sectors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect technical value to commercial outcomes.
- Independent, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple customer engagements.
- Willingness to travel internationally for customer visits, events, and partner meetings.
