A cutting-edge technology company is looking for an experienced ASIC Programme Manager to lead a highly advanced communications ASIC development for the satcoms sector. This is a senior role offering full project ownership from specification through to tapeout, in a business that values technical credibility, professional autonomy, and high standards. You’ll join a collaborative and flexible working environment with private medical cover, 26 days holiday (rising with service), share options, life assurance, a discretionary bonus scheme, and a 5% matched pension.
The Role
- Lead and deliver complex ASIC programmes end-to-end (spec to production)
- Motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Interface directly with customers on scope, delivery, budget and change control
- Own risk management, budgeting, reporting, and profitability tracking
- Release all customer deliverables and lead internal/external project reviews
Key Experience
- Proven track record managing complex chip development projects to tapeout
- Background in digital/analogue design, system design, verification or SoC
- Skilled in ASIC/VLSI flows and able to guide technical discussions
- Strong project ownership mindset with commercial and delivery accountability
- Experience working across multiple locations and teams
- Experience in satcoms, PNT, or wireless communications
- Exposure to dynamic engineering environments and external customer management
