My client is a global engineering business supplying highly specialised industrial machinery into demanding, high-tech markets — including semiconductor, medical and advanced research. They are now looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of key OEM customers and help drive the next phase of growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term, technical relationships rather than transactional sales.
You will work closely with engineering, production and procurement stakeholders at customer sites, acting as the commercial and technical link between the customer and internal teams.
The role:- Manage and grow strategic OEM accounts across semiconductor and industrial markets
- Develop deep understanding of customer applications, roadmaps and future technology needs
- Build accurate forecasts, manage budgets and grow market share
- Identify opportunities for new products, new applications and competitor displacement
- Support technical evaluations and new product introductions
- Degree-level background in Engineering, Physics or similar or strong technical sales/service experience
- Experience with complex, engineered products — ideally within semiconductor or industrial machinery
- Confident communicator who can engage credibly with engineers and senior stakeholders
- Commercially aware, organised and comfortable owning accounts end-to-end
This is a high-impact Account Manager role with real autonomy, international exposure and access to advanced industrial machinery used in the semiconductor industry and beyond. If you are looking for a technically credible sales role with depth, stability and long-term progression, this one is worth a conversation. Reach out to Rebecca at IC Resources for more information.
