Overview
Linux Platform Engineer. A growing company based in Cambridge are looking for a highly skilled Linux Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Board Support Packages (BSP) for NXP-based platforms.
- Build, customize, and maintain Linux kernels, including module development and integration.
- Debug and troubleshoot networking-related system issues using profiling tools.
- Optimize Linux system performance, memory management, and I/O operations.
- Debug and troubleshoot system-level issues using profiling and tracing tools.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, Bash, and Python.
- Deep understanding of Linux networking stack; Yocto and Poxy is advantageous (TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP, Netfilter, iptables, nftables).
- BSP development (board support packages).
- Knowledge of networking protocols.
- Experience with performance tuning and packet tracing.
- Debugging.
- Experience with 3GPP, 4G, 5G protocols.
- Over 5 years of experience within Platform Engineering or a similar role.
- Interview Process
The first stage will be a 30-minute Teams call with the Software Team Lead, followed by an onsite technical interview with the tech team and a culture discussion with HR.
