The Role
As a Lead Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end delivery of a flagship product, ensuring technical projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. You will develop robust project plans, manage risks, and provide clear, structured updates to key stakeholders, driving accountability and alignment across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Planning – Define and maintain detailed project plans, mapping key features to timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Risk & Issue Management – Proactively identify risks, resolve blockers, and adapt plans to maintain project momentum.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Communicate complex technical updates effectively, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams and leadership.
- Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance project management methodologies and streamline execution.
- Project Performance & Review – Conduct post-project evaluations to refine processes, optimise future delivery, and ensure continuous improvement.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven expertise in managing complex technical programmes from conception to completion, ideally within deep tech, advanced engineering, or research-driven environments.
- MUST have experience managing engineering projects that incorporate electronic and software design teams.
- A strong strategic mindset, with the ability to translate high-level objectives into actionable, detailed project plans.
- Exceptional problem-solving and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to managing risks and overcoming challenges.
- A track record of influencing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, from engineers to executives.
- The ability to drive results without direct line management, fostering accountability and clarity within cross-functional teams.
- Project Management Certification is preferred
