Imagine working for one of the world’s biggest tech companies with the luxury of working from home. For a PDK Engineer, this is such an opportunity – we’re looking for an experienced PDK (Process Design Kit) Engineer to be based anywhere in the UK and help build the silicon team for one of the world’s greatest innovators.
Working with one of the world’s most reputed silicon teams, the PDK Engineer will be responsible for the organization, maintenance, and distribution of all Foundation IP and PDK assets such as standard cell libraries, memory compilers, EDA tools and runsets. The role involves the efficient tracking, retrieval, installation, and verification of these assets from various vendors to support project needs, and will involve quarterly trips to the silicon design office based in London.
The right candidate for this role will be:
- An experienced engineer, with a proven track record in standard cell layout and PDK development
- Highly knowledgeable in the various library views, EDA tools’ techfiles and runsets
- Experienced in software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of hardware physical design libraries’ views formats and inventory management principles
