Overview

Key Account Manager – Supply Chain role located in Newbury, UK (Onsite). Salary: £70k + 30% commission (up to 60%). We are seeking an experienced account manager with a strong background in electronics and a focus on client success to support continued growth and maintain outstanding customer relationships.

The role will manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, with a particular focus on component kitting services and supply chain operations. You’ll act as the strategic interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-volume component supply, tailored logistical solutions, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop strategic relationships with key accounts, especially those focused on component kitting and supply chain delivery models.
  • Work closely with OEMs, EMS providers, and distribution partners to align on operational goals and long-term strategy.
  • Lead forecasting and stock management to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to analyse performance, identify opportunities, and reinforce customer value.
  • Accurately quote and source electronic components, ensuring pricing and lead times are competitive and realistic.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of managing component kitting accounts.
  • Show strong technical understanding of electronic components, kitting services, and supply chain processes.
  • Manage complex client relationships and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • Be a proactive, self-motivated individual with a strong commercial mindset and attention to detail.
