Our exciting new client is now searching for a III-V Device Engineering Manager with deep expertise in III-V semiconductor device design, development and volume manufacturing. The candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the scaling of the production of the first product range and developing the new product range for optical communication systems. This role will sit at the intersection of R&D, Operations, Engineering and external foundry partners. Ensuring that new epi layers, process flows, tests are scalable from prototyping using in-house facilities through to volume manufacturing at foundry partners.

Required skills will include:

  • Strong semiconductor device manufacturing knowledge with a focus on III-V technologies
  • Strong background in design, test, and volume production of high-speed photodetectors (APDs or photodiodes preferred)
  • Proven experience transferring products to high-volume manufacturing and working closely with foundries
  • Excellent communication and management skills
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field
