We're looking for a Hardware Security Research Engineer to join our team, working at the intersection of hardware, embedded systems, and cybersecurity.
You'll research complex electronic and cyber‑physical systems, identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop proof‑of‑concept solutions that help solve challenging security problems.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll combine technical expertise with creativity to understand how systems work and how they can be secured.
- What you’ll do
- Research and analyse hardware and embedded systems
- Identify hardware and cyber‑physical security vulnerabilities
- Design and build proof‑of‑concept prototypes and demonstrators
- Debug hardware using tools such as JTAG, UART, SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analysers
- Reverse engineer hardware and firmware where required
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative security solutions
- Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- What we’re looking for
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline
- Experience with electronics, embedded systems, or hardware development
- Hands‑on experience debugging hardware and building prototypes
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
