We're working with an innovative technology company developing ruggedised electronic and hardware solutions. They're looking for a Test & Validation Engineer to help build and operate their in-house testing capability, validating products against real-world conditions.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and operating custom testbeds for hardware products
- Conducting vibration, thermal, fatigue and environmental testing
- Operating environmental chambers, vibration tables and DAQ systems
- Testing against standards including MIL-STD-810H, IP and IK ratings
- Analysing results and feeding recommendations directly into product design
Experience required:
- Hands-on engineering experience within an R&D, laboratory or workshop environment
- Experience designing and operating hardware test systems
- Proven ability to develop and scale validation processes from prototype through to production
- Strong understanding of environmental, structural and reliability testing principles
- Knowledge on industry standards - MIL-STD-810H, IP
