Our international client is seeking a Process Development Engineer to join the Technology Development team at the Glasgow site. This role focuses on optimizing semiconductor processes and ensuring module-level specifications are achieved for discrete products. They are looking for a results-driven professional with strong technical expertise and analytical skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Process Module Development: Define and develop key process modules in any of areas of patterning, etching, deposition, or metrology, ensuring they meet target specifications for performance and reliability.
  • Process Optimization, Design of Experiments (DOE), Data Analysis, defect and Failure Analysis.

Required skills for the Semiconductor Process Development Engineer will include:

  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor process technology and device physics.
  • Experience in defining and optimizing process modules (patterning, etching, deposition, metrology).
  • Familiarity with DOE and statistical tools.
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor process equipment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and technical reporting skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
