HPC Infrastructure Engineer - Semiconductor / EDA
Contract | Remote | Part-time or Full-time | Rate DOE
I'm working with a semiconductor company looking for an experienced HPC Infrastructure Engineer / Architect to support the development and evolution of their engineering compute environment.
This isn't purely a Slurm administration role. We're looking for someone who understands HPC infrastructure in an EDA/semiconductor environment and the demands that ASIC/SoC engineering workloads place on the underlying compute platform.
What we're looking for
- Strong HPC / compute cluster infrastructure experience
- Experience with Slurm preferred; other HPC schedulers such as LSF or Grid Engine also relevant
- Previous exposure to EDA tooling/environments - Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens/Mentor etc.
- Strong Linux infrastructure background
- Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally AWS
- Experience supporting compute environments used for ASIC/SoC design, verification, simulation or similar engineering workloads
- Data centre/infrastructure migration experience would be advantageous
The requirement can be structured on either a part-time or full-time contract basis , with flexibility around working arrangements.
If you've built or supported HPC infrastructure within a semiconductor / EDA engineering environment , please get in touch.
