IC Resources are excited to be supporting a leading SMB in professional audio technology who are seeking an FPGA Audio Engineer to join their R&D teams in Chessington. With world-renowned products used by top musicians and immersive in-ear monitoring solutions, this role offers an exciting environment for anyone passionate about audio and music innovation.

As the FPGA Engineer you’ll be working on low-latency, high-accuracy audio systems, helping to drive product communication across platforms and shape the future of live performance technology.

FPGA Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Design audio engines and develop new features for consoles, racks, DMIs, and processors.
  • Develop algorithms for audio effects, signal routing, and communication protocols.
  • System architecture, schematics, and IC selections.
  • Document designs, interfaces, and protocols.
They are looking for an FPGA Engineer with the following Skillset:
  • Proficiency in VHDL and strong understanding of digital signal processing, high-speed digital design, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with audio interfaces and serial communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, I2S).
  • Knowledge of Dante, AES67, Ethernet, or IP networking.
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGA tools (Vivado, ISE, Vitis) and audio consoles.
  • Familiarity with C/C++ and digital audio systems.
