An exciting opportunity has arisen with a rapidly growing AI company transforming manufacturing, based in London. This is a unique opportunity for a Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives on variety and real-world problems to deploy and support the AI systems on factory floors across a range of industries, owning the customer journey end to end.
This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role, working closely with research and engineering teams. You should expect to travel to customer sites and trade shows across the UK and internationally, with no two weeks looking the same. You will commit to an onsite working model, required in the office when not out at customer sites.
Experience of the Forward Deployed Engineer will include:
- Strong engineering background
- Experience deploying or supporting software and hardware systems
- Comfort working directly with customers and acting as the face of the company
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar manufacturing processes
- Experience taking projects from concept to deployment (startups a bonus)
- Bonus: background in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or industrial systems
