Join a leading space and satellite communications company – Farnborough, Hybrid Working Model. This innovative space technology business is developing next-generation satellite payload and communications platforms, delivering high-performance solutions for global connectivity. The team are now looking for a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development, integration and testing of Linux-based embedded systems used in advanced baseband and antenna hardware.
You’ll work closely with experienced hardware, RF and software engineers, contributing to low-level development, driver integration and system bring-up while building your skills in a highly technical environment.
Responsibilities:- Contribute to low-level development, driver integration and system bring-up.
- Some commercial or internship experience developing embedded software in C/C++.
- Some exposure to Embedded Linux (kernel, drivers or user-space development).
- Understanding of communication peripherals such as I2C, SPI or UART.
- Interest in low-level systems and hardware interaction.
- A proactive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
- Ideally, some awareness of RF or communications systems (not essential).
