Join a high-growth semiconductor company – Fareham, Hybrid Working Model (3 days onsite). This innovative technology company is developing next-generation sensing and display solutions, working at the cutting edge of embedded systems, firmware and algorithm development.

The team are looking for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to take ownership of a small sub-team, driving delivery across embedded software and firmware projects. You’ll act as a hands-on technical leader, contributing to development while mentoring engineers and guiding project delivery across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead embedded software and firmware projects and own a small sub-team.
  • Contribute to development while mentoring engineers and guiding project delivery across cross-functional teams.
  • Drive delivery across the full software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience developing embedded software in C.
  • Proficiency in Python for tooling, scripting or algorithm development.
  • Commercial experience leading projects, teams or mentoring engineers.
  • Ability to drive delivery across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working within a semiconductor or chip environment is advantageous.
  • Ideally, exposure to DSP, sensing technologies or algorithm development.
