My client is looking to hire an ERP Systems Administrator for their IT team based in Salisbury.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor the company’s current ERP system (Efacs) and assist with the implementation of their new ERP system - Infor.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for the company’s current and future ERP systems (Efacs and Infor).
- Work transversally with the IT service ensuring availability of services and security across all business applications.
- Assist in the development of the business applications, to fit the business processes.
- Prepare and carry out testing and validation of changes and upgrades before release.
- Research alternative business systems for benchmarking current business systems and recommend future strategy.
- Assist with repair and recovery from hardware or software failures, including communication with impacted parties.
- Provide support to end users on business applications and systems.
- Use service provider material, and create where necessary, to deliver user training on business applications.
- Act as a referent for the publisher's support department, escalating support issues not resolved internally or for new demand to the suitable partner.
Key skills / experience required:
- Experience of Infor (preferably Infor LN) and Efacs ERP systems and their configuration, peripherals, interface flow.
- Knowledge of Reporting Tools.
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- Windows operating system.
- Ability to analyse the business environment and activities.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Pro-active and ability to work autonomously.
