Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our semiconductor engineering team. This is a hands-on role involving maintenance, repair, and assembly of high-precision equipment in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment. You will work closely with engineers to ensure production tools and systems remain operational and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Fault-finding and repair
  • Mechanical assembly, alignment, and testing of semiconductor equipment
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery
  • Troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues
  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
  • Supporting process and equipment improvement projects
  • Documenting work carried out and maintaining accurate maintenance records

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in PCB fault finding and repair at component level
  • Strong mechanical assembly skills (small mechanisms, precision tooling)
  • Background in electronics, mechatronics, or similar discipline
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience in a high-tech manufacturing or cleanroom environment (semiconductor experience advantageous)
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a shift-based pattern
