Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our semiconductor engineering team. This is a hands-on role involving maintenance, repair, and assembly of high-precision equipment in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment. You will work closely with engineers to ensure production tools and systems remain operational and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Fault-finding and repair
- Mechanical assembly, alignment, and testing of semiconductor equipment
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery
- Troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues
- Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Supporting process and equipment improvement projects
- Documenting work carried out and maintaining accurate maintenance records
Qualifications
- Proven experience in PCB fault finding and repair at component level
- Strong mechanical assembly skills (small mechanisms, precision tooling)
- Background in electronics, mechatronics, or similar discipline
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience in a high-tech manufacturing or cleanroom environment (semiconductor experience advantageous)
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a shift-based pattern
