A Power Electronics Engineer is required to join a high-growth technology company developing advanced battery and fast-charging solutions. The Power Electronics Engineer will work on the design, development and validation of power conversion systems for next-generation energy storage and EV charging platforms. This role offers hands-on technical responsibility within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop power conversion circuits, including DC/DC and AC/DC topologies
  • Select components and optimise PCB layouts for high-efficiency, high-power systems
  • Perform simulation, analysis and validation of power electronics modules
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware and mechanical teams to integrate power systems
  • Support prototype build, testing and troubleshooting
  • Document designs, test plans and engineering reports

Requirements

  • Background in power electronics, hardware design or energy systems
  • Experience with DC/DC converters, battery systems or EV charging electronics
  • Ability to develop and validate power circuits and work across multidisciplinary teams
  • Practical testing, fault-finding and validation experience desirable
  • Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
