Based in Berkshire, this is a superb opportunity for a Graduate Application Engineer with one of the world’s most important companies in the semiconductor industry. Please note, candidates must already be based in the UK (relocation cannot be supported with this role). For a recently graduated (or soon-to-graduate) Engineer, this is undoubtedly one of the best opportunities to develop their career in the tech space.

This company is one of the foundational companies behind modern technology, developing tools and solutions that are critical to the Semiconductor and AI industry. As the Graduate Application Engineer you will join an experienced team of IC Application Engineers and support customer deployment and adoption of custom IC design solutions. This role offers a broad span of exposure across the business as you collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, and Marketing teams.

With the support of Senior Engineers, you will analyze customer design issues and deliver technical guidance and effective workflow solutions. You’ll steadily build your experience carrying out product demos, technical evaluations, and giving technical presentations, all within a stress-free, supportive and enjoyable environment.

Key essentials include:

  • A BSc / MSc degree within Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • Good foundational knowledge within IC design, with hands-on project experience with Cadence tools or software
  • Plenty of enthusiasm to learn, and excellent communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (visas cannot be sponsored)
