Are you an Analog IC Design Engineer ready for your next career move? My leading Semiconductor client is creating a new role within its Swindon design team, offering the chance to work alongside seasoned IC design experts and benefit from excellent training, mentoring, and long-term career progression. This role would ideally suit someone with around 2-5 years’ of experience under their belt.
As a relatively small site, my client is quite diverse in what they do. They are a full turn-key ASIC provider, working on custom ASICs for numerous companies around the world. As the successful Analog IC Designer, you will get to work on the full design spectrum from product concept definition and specification, modelling (in Verilog) through to tapeout. You would see numerous circuits and have the chance to really build something!
Requirements include:
- A BSc / MSc / PhD degree within Electronic Engineering or similar field
- At least a couple of years’ hands-on experience in Analog IC Design, with experience of having designed several circuit blocks such as amplifiers, comparators or data converters
- Excellent communication skills and plenty of motivation
- Any additional experience in layout or Verilog/VHDL (perhaps from studies) would be a plus, but not essential
