An innovative and fast-growing engineering company is seeking a Electronics Design Engineer to join its talented R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the full product lifecycle of cutting-edge high-power DC/DC converter systems used in next-generation electrification technologies.

Key Responsibilities as the Electronics Design Engineer:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Assist the Lead Electronics Engineer in planning timelines, allocating resources, and managing project budgets.
  • Design high-power DC/DC converters (2–10kW+) to meet detailed technical specifications.
  • Develop designs from schematic through to manufacturing and certification release.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for innovative technologies.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation including test plans, reports, and verification/validation materials.
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers to address thermal design challenges and implement effective solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with high-power DC/DC or AC/DC converters particularly buck/boost topologies.
  • Knowledge of battery charging and integration.
  • Experience with systems powered by Li-Ion or lead-acid batteries.
  • Proficient in circuit simulation tools such as Simulink, MATLAB, or Simetrix.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic CAD tools (Altium Designer preferred).
  • Solid understanding of thermal management in electronics.
  • Strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of electronic engineering.
