Electrical Draughtsman needed in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire to carry out electrical design and drawing work at a global Engineering company. The suitable Electrical Draughtsman will have experience of creating and working with electrical drawings in an industrial machinery context including; small mobile robotic industrial machinery and/or bench-top industrial machinery utilising PCB’s and complex cable harnesses and/or experience of control panels, control systems and 3-phase systems to the relevant industry and safety standards.

Suitable applicants will ideally be qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline. You should have experience of creating cable harness drawings, routing layouts, single line diagrams, build drawings, electrical schematics, parts lists using AutoCAD LT. You should be trained to IPC-620 for cable harness assemblies.

The Electrical Draughtsman will be responsible for generating and maintaining accurate and detailed drawings, parts lists, build manuals, etc. for large and small industrial machinery , delivering the migration of all Electrical and Electronic drawings into a format compliant with an ERP system. You will also analyse existing and future designs to enable efficient, cost-effective manufacture and/or assembly and Support the manufacturing team during production/assembly and service, installation and commissioning teams.
