We are looking for an EDA CAD Engineer to join our growing deep tech client based in Berkshire, Southern England. As an expanding high-tech scale-up, our client is offering a superb opportunity for an EDA CAD Engineer who is interested in working across advanced chip and system-level projects.

Working as a key member of the mixed-signal IC team, the EDA CAD Engineer will:

  • Manage and maintain the company EDA environment, including the support of tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Siemens Calibre/AFS Design.
  • Automate and validate robust CAD flows for simulation, physical verification, parasitic extraction, and reliability analysis.
  • Contribute to the installation, qualification, and deployment of PDKs for advanced technology nodes.
  • Collaborate with circuit designers, layout engineers, test teams and external EDA vendors, broadening technical experience and problem-solving skills.

As the right candidate you will have a strong working background in EDA / CAD as well as PDK development, with several years’ experience in the industry. A solid understanding of CAD flows is essential, as are hands-on scripting skills. Fluent language skills in English are essential!
