We are seeking a PDK and Layout Engineer to join our expanding Semiconductor client based within the North East's emerging semiconductor cluster. As a leading developer of cutting-edge, next generation compound semiconductors, our client is looking for a PDK and Layout Engineer to provide design support services for all aspects of generation of MMIC layout artwork from development of PDKs to the procurement of mask sets.
This will involve performing layout activities and mask procurement for internal and external customers, as well as developing and maintaining Process Design Kits (PDKs) including design rules, DRC/LVS decks and parameterised cells.
The Right Candidate Will Have
- A University degree in Electronics / Science / Mathematics
- A proven background within PDK development OR IC Layout, with knowledge of CAD Scripting / programming skills
- An interest in Semiconductor devices would be beneficial, so as to understand the design and manufacturing flow
- Excellent team working skills, and a strong attention to detail
