This is a great opportunity for a CAD PDK Engineer to join a very well-reputed, successful IC design firm in the UK. This role can be based out of our client’s offices in Oxford, Sheffield or Bristol, with hybrid working, 2-3 days in the office.
In this role the CAD / PDK Engineer will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting and challenging design projects while diversifying and expanding his / her knowledge.
- PDK installation, configuration and maintenance
- Physical IP library installation, configuration and maintenance
- CAD tool installation, configuration and maintenance
- Supporting the IC design engineering teams on day-to-day activities relating to CAD provision
- Working with IC design engineering teams to develop methodology improvements
- Direct technical interfacing with external foundries and CAD tool vendors
A Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or similar OR - Digital IC design flows using Cadence or Synopsys platforms
Knowledge of custom and digital design flows
Scripting experience in Linux/unix, python, Skill, TCL or other
