We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test & Validation Engineer to join a cutting-edge space and advanced engineering organisation developing high-reliability electronic systems for space-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute hands-on testing and validation of electronic subsystems and PCBs
- Perform component-level fault finding and root cause analysis (ICs, passives, PCB traces, signals)
- Set up, configure, and operate electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analysers, etc.)
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for test automation, instrument control, and data acquisition
- Support system integration testing and environmental/functional verification activities
- Analyse test results and support debugging of hardware failures in a lab environment
- Maintain clear and accurate test documentation and traceability records
Experience required
- Proven experience as an Electronics Test, Verification, or Validation Engineer in aerospace, space, defence, or other high-reliability environments
- Strong hands-on fault-finding skills at component and PCB level
- Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment in a lab environment
- Experience with hardware validation, debugging, and system-level testing
- Proficiency in Python for automation, data acquisition, and instrument control
