Senior Compiler Engineer

Location: Cambridge

Working Model: Onsite

We’re working with a well‑established yet fast‑evolving compute company developing high‑performance graphics and AI acceleration platforms, combining advanced silicon design with sophisticated compiler and tooling stacks.

As part of continued growth, they are expanding their compiler group and are seeking a Senior Compiler Engineer to work on performance‑critical, hardware‑aware compiler technology that directly impacts real‑world compute products.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Development and enhancement of LLVM‑based and proprietary compiler toolchains
• Performance optimisation for graphics, AI, and accelerator‑driven workloads
• Low‑level code generation, backend compiler development, and systems‑level optimisation
• Close collaboration with architecture, silicon, and hardware teams to influence product performance
• Strong experience in compiler development (LLVM strongly preferred)
• Background in systems programming, performance optimisation, or hardware‑aware software
• Exposure to GPUs, AI accelerators, CPUs, or DSPs is a strong plus
