An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Engineer to join a growing engineering team in the Colchester area. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be involved in the design, development, and validation of electronic systems for complex products. The role of Electronics Engineer will cover schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, and hands‑on testing, working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high quality designs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits for analogue, digital, and mixed‑signal systems
- Undertake schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection
- Support prototyping, bring‑up, debugging, and validation in the lab
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and test engineers to ensure robust system integration
- Contribute to documentation, design reviews, and product compliance activities
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in circuit design, PCB layout, and lab testing
- Knowledge of communication interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet) desirable
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team
