Based in West London, this is an outstanding opportunity for a Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join an exciting BioTech start-up that will transform the lives of millions of people. The impact that our client’s technology will have on the healthcare industry can’t be underestimated. Having already won awards for their Semiconductor solutions, our client is expanding their silicon team and seeks a Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to help them achieve their goal of delivering chip-based solutions for neurological conditions.
The Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer will work alongside the CTO and technical lead on the full IC design flow process from concept, architecture and specification, through to integration, tapeout and post-silicon testing. You will be learning from experienced chartered engineers, and work at the heart of innovation and product development for cutting-edge circuits.
The right candidate will have:
- A Master's or PhD in Microelectronics or related field
- Several years of industry experience in analogue/mixed-signal IC design
- Expert knowledge of low-power CMOS design
- A keen start-up mentality and an interest in the biomedical field
- Any prior knowledge or experience within neuroscience or neural signal processing would be great (but not an essential)
- Power management experience would also be useful
- Any previous experience of working within a start-up and wearing many hats would be a real plus
