We’re looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of the design, build, and deployment of cold-hardened hardware systems — from field-ready energy platforms to autonomous surface and sub-surface technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive full product development, push the boundaries of materials and mechanical design, and take systems from workshop prototype through to deployment in extreme field conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline, with a strong portfolio of high-fidelity hardware development
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and PDM systems)
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and iterative development in multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable operating in cold and remote field environments while supporting real-world R&D testing
  • Strong leadership capability, with the ability to drive engineering decisions and mentor others
