Test Development Engineer needed in Cheltenham to join an award-winning company designing and manufacturing innovative products making use of the latest technology.
The Test Development Engineer will join a busy team working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams. You will design, develop, and support advanced test systems used within our clients' manufacturing facilities and across their supply chain.
The successful candidate will have experience developing automated and production-focused test solutions for complex electronic systems. You should be a true Engineer with a broad range of expertise, happy to turn your hand to whatever is required. Your skill set is likely to include some of the following:
- The design and fabrication of electronic test equipment
- Embedded C, Python (and the use of source code control)
- Hardware development and integration focused on measurement capability
- LabVIEW application development for automation and control of test equipment
- Experience realising test system design concepts with CAD (SolidWorks or similar)
- A good understanding of electronic test methods and fault finding
In addition to strong technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
