This Power Electronics Engineer role focuses on the development of advanced power conversion solutions for next-generation technology products. The Power Electronics Engineer will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and manufacturing support. The Power Electronics Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative hardware solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop power electronic circuits and systems
  • Create schematics and support PCB design activities
  • Perform simulation, testing and validation of hardware designs
  • Support product development from concept through production
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues during development
  • Work closely with embedded, mechanical and systems engineers
  • Contribute to design reviews and technical decision making
  • Support manufacturing and product improvement activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics or a related discipline
  • Experience designing power electronic systems
  • Strong understanding of analogue electronics and power conversion techniques
  • Experience with schematic capture and laboratory testing
  • Knowledge of DC-DC converters, power management or motor control systems
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams

Desirable

  • Experience with simulation tools such as LTspice, PLECS or MATLAB/Simulink
  • Knowledge of embedded control systems
  • Familiarity with EMC, safety or regulatory compliance
  • Experience supporting products through manufacturing and NPI
