We are looking for a Senior RF IC Design expert for our Cambridge-based client, one of the world’s Semiconductor leaders. UK visa sponsorship and relocation package is also available.
Based in the UK’s high-tech hub of Cambridge, our global client operates a strategically important RFIC Design centre, working on RF transceivers in advanced process nodes. With a focus on state-of-the-art wireless technology, currently 5G, shifting to 6G, they have a great team with superb management – reflected by the fact that so many people join the team and stay for many years.
The RFIC Design Engineer will focus on the specification, design, implementation and verification of challenging Analog and RF circuit blocks and subsystems for 5G RF ICs such as filters, low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers or mixers, to deliver excellent performance on first silicon.
Suitable candidates will have:
- A BSc / MSc degree within Electronics Engineering or similar field
- Proven industrial experience with strong experience in designing RF circuits in advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below)
- A strong analytical approach is required with a clear track record of success and delivery.
- An excellent understanding of modern transceiver architectures and a good working knowledge of RF IC layout optimisation
