This is a unique new opportunity for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join a brand-new office in Cambridge; part of an established European Semiconductor company. With a very reputable name in the market, our client is embarking on an ambitious new growth drive in the field of high-speed wireline communications, following significant investment this year. The goal is to expand in several international locations, including Cambridge, and they seek innovative, experienced Analog IC Design Engineers who are passionate about designing, modelling and verifying high-performance custom analog circuits, as well as contributing to new architectures and innovative technologies.
This role offers a highly interesting combination of research, innovation and hands-on analog IC design work, which would suit someone with a highly analytical approach to analog design and a keen interest to develop something new. You will work on challenging analog designs in advanced FinFET technologies, using industry-leading Cadence tools.
Requirements Include:
- A BSc / MSc / PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, or similar
- Several years’ experience in industry, working within analog IC design
- Experience In Any Of The Key Technology Areas:
- Data converters (ADC/DAC)
- PLLs
- SerDes
- High-speed analog and mixed-signal circuit design
- A keen interest in the development of new circuit architectures and technologies
- Previous SerDes experience would be highly desirable, although we would also consider experienced Analog IC Designers with strong backgrounds in ADC/DAC design, PLLs or PLL-based systems.
- Given the innovative nature of the role, any patents or publications in your portfolio would really stand out.
